Cutest Student Pet: Tiger

Human: Mee-ya Monnin

Tiger is the love of my life. He is truly apart of the FW family, in that he was bred by Bruce and Katie Dugger, and his mother is owned by Dana Sanchez. Tiger and I quickly fell in love with each other and both find ourselves forlorn when we are separated from one another. Almost anyplace I go, Tiger is with me. This photo was taken at a house located on the Oregon Institute of Marine Biology campus (U of O's marine station) in Charleston, OR. I worked as a teaching assistant there and Tiger would sit and wait for me for hours while I was in class, his chin gently resting on the windowsill. As students walked by on their way to and from class (and cooed and awed) Tiger would keep vigilant watch searching for me and anticipating my return.Tiger is obsessed with balls and fetch, is deathly scared of horses and cows, generally does not understand how to play with other dogs (but does love his canine family who live with Grandma and Grandpa Dugger), likely believes himself to be a human, knows a variety of tricks and obedience skills, and has a 'doggy doorbell' that he rings with his nose to request for his humans to let him back inside the house.

Cutest Faculty / Staff Pet: Zoe

Humans: The Heppells

Zoe, a 3-month old black lab/golden retriever cross, is a super-sweet, hyper-cute, lovable bundle of fun. She loves eating anything and everything she finds on the ground, tormenting Sebastian the cat, and most of all, treats.
