I have broad research interests within the fields of aquatic ecology and fish ecology.  My current projects focus on (1) aquatic terrestrial linkages and the influence of riparian forest stand structure on stream ecosystem function; (2) Native trout distributions eastern Oregon and Northern Nevada; (3) brook trout spawning phenology and the influence of climate change on trout; (4) Quantifying the nutrient shadow cast by anadromous salmonids and determining which areas along the stream network are most impacted by the loss of these SDN subsidies; (5) Coho salmon use of lake resources during out-migration in systems along the Oregon coast.
