I am interested in using molecular markers to address questions about population structure and evolutionary history of both insular and pelagic dolphin species. I use these markers to evaluate social structure within groups of dolphins. In addition I use these markers to study migratory destinations of whales. My research interests focus on the application of these tools for the purpose of conservation management.
