VIEW Fellowship
The 2023 VIEW Fellowship, hosted by the Dept of Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Sciences at Oregon State University, is accepting student applications until February 19th! VIEW is a summer research experience program that supports the professional development of future ecologists from communities that have historically been excluded or are currently underrepresented in our field. VIEW Fellows participate in 10 weeks of full-time, paid ($15/hr) research between June and August with a FWCS research group. Housing is provided. This year's projects are located across Oregon and focus on marine mammals, fish, macroinvertebrates, amphibians, mammalian genetics, and Traditional Ecological Knowledge. Students without previous experience, but with strong enthusiasm and interest in this field, are encouraged to apply! We hope to see your application by February 19th! (Learn more)
