Chee-la Xwii-t’i / Hello Everyone ~

It it with the utmost respect and full remembrance that we acknowledge the ancestors whose lands we are honored to be able to be working and living in. 

It is important to recognize that Oregon State University Corvallis campus has been built on the traditional homelands, gathering and migrational route areas of Kalapuya and western Oregon Tribes. The Kalapuya descendants, along with other western Oregon Tribes are now included into The Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde and The Confederated Tribes of Siletz.
