Available Scholarship Funding

There are several types of scholarships available to FWCS graduate students. Each type is administered by a different entity at Oregon State University. Please review the following for information on how to finance your education. If a scholarship is dispersed into a student account, that funding will be applied toward any balance owed to the University and then the student can request any remaining balance as a personal check.

Office of Graduate Education Scholarships

The OSU Office of Graduate Education (OGE) offers Scholarships that typically require a nomination by the FWCS Department, although a few awards cane be applied for directly by the student. Awards requiring nomination by the FWCS Department will involve an early deadline and review of applications by the FWCS Department's Scholarship and Graduate Committees. For more detailed information, visit the Scholarships webpage and watch for email notifications of deadlines sent by the FWCS Graduate Program Coordinator.

For questions regarding the OGE Scholarships application process, please contact [email protected].

College of Agricultural Sciences Scholarships

The College of Agricultural Sciences has many opportunities to help fund your education through their annual scholarship awards. Typically the deadline for scholarships is mid-February, but students can start applying mid-November by using the link above.

For information on how to apply, deadlines, and for any other questions please contact CAS scholarships: [email protected] or 541-737-2211.

Departmental Scholarships

These are available for current graduate students and are awarded each Fall. Students graduating before each Fall term are not eligible. The application will be available in February and will be due in April each year.
