Sandy DeBano and her students are examining how riparian restoration, grazing by native ungulates (deer and elk), and domestic livestock impact native bee communities at the Starkey Experimental Forest in the Blue Mountains of eastern Oregon. The project is a joint effort with the USDA Forest Service Pacific Northwest Research Station's La Grande Forestry & Range Sciences Laboratory.
